Hmmm...guess the only rule I would put on a library would be: Have fun!

I wonder if visually impaired patrons know that these rules are posted? What happens if they break a rule? Will a staff member take them to the sign and read the rules to them?

You might be interested in Shanghai (China) Public Library's "front door" rules. They also include a list of "professional ethics" next to the rules.

Sadly, few people pay any attention to signs anyway. There need to be fewer better signs, otherwise it's all just noise.
