As it stands now, we’ll start in Sydney and move roughly west (Melbourne-Adelaide-Perth), then back east through Alice Springs to finish in Brisbane. I just bought the tickets today. We’re also making a bit of a celebratory trip now that the doctorate is done.
I’ll post more when I have the schedule.
(Thanks to Jessamyn for the use of her Sydney pic!)

Congrats Michael! Sounds like a great adventure, and I’m sure they’re thrilled that you’re making the trek to visit. If you need someone to carry your bags…

Michael,
Thrilled? I am over the moon. It will be awesome to have you here. If you need a local guide (Melbourne), let me know. I can’t wait!

It’s great to hear that you’ll be covering such a huge distance when you visit, not just Sydney-Melbourne.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

holy schnike!
Well, there’s proof this profession can offer me a way to realize my dreams too.
Ah libraries! Gotta love what they can do for ya.

Oh yay!
Happy to match Michelle’s local guide offer for Sydney.
You should have fabulous (though hot) weather the whole time. Perfect time of year to visit!
