Having worked for many years at a large, urban public library (not in L.A.) where administrative permission had to be asked for EVERY LITTLE THING, I would bet that an employee got excited about a 2.0 concept, out this up, did NOT get permission and was told to take it down. I hope that's not the case, but I've seen stuff like this happen too often not to suspect it here. Maybe someone will prove me wrong. Please do.
