I've been meaning to do some for a while, so it's high time I tried. <a href="http://flickr.com/photos/8496347@N04/2642158746/" rel="nofollow">Challenge </a> is, for me, about challenging the status quo, trying new things, not just "assuming" that you understand what is going on. I've been trying to learn better listening (especially when the other person has an opinion different from mine), so maybe that has influenced this, too. The image is my own, but feel free to use it if it suits you. I finally did a passion quilt square. I’ve been meaning to do some for a while, so it’s high time I tried. Challenge is, for me, about challenging the status quo, trying new things, not just “assuming” that you understand what is going on. Like many people who hadn't been to your presentations before, I used to see this image as your last slide in your pdf slidesets and wonder what the accompanying words were. My ex-boss and her husband wrote an article about 30 years ago, for a now long-forgotten Western Australian Library newsletter, which was titled "Curious people make the best librarians".
