Facebook isn't just for teens. The people who started using Facebook as seniors in 2004 are now turning 26 or 27. Soon, they'll be starting to get married and have children. Facebook already hosts a cutest baby competition. By the time current LIS students have graduated and started work, libraries might be scheduling all sorts of family events on Facebook.

On the other hand, libraries can do a lot to help bridge the digital divide by helping young kids learn how to use Facebook and other social sites safely.
