Thanks for pointing the way to UCF’s new interactive maps. They are the work of two very talented people: Blake Stephens (no relation to Michael!) and Bobby Ciullo, of the University of Central Florida’s Systems & Technology Department.
Each map was also printed as a full color poster (not interactive, of course) and placed in a kiosk on the appropriate floor of the main library.
As for their usefulness to library patrons—the library has not had much commentary or response to the maps yet; since it is summer semester and it is a little quieter on campus. Thanks to Blake & Bobby, with content contributions from Circulaiton Services, it is great to have the interactive maps available, awaiting the return of our full complement of UCF’s 48,000 students for fall semester.
