   How does a mocking depiction of librarians help the profession, I wonder.

   All the people who worked on the video were librarians, so it was done with affection. We tried to have a sense of humor about ourselves - we’re proud of the way we can help people in so many ways and the services we provide. The point was to show how libraries will never really be in danger if we keep up our excellent (and cheery!) work.

   Great little video! I’ve been seeing lots of homemade library videos popping up lately and I think its a great way to get out there and show the world what we offer, while breaking down that stern shusher stereotype.
