Or, a nifty historical experience is the Acoma Pueblo – which is the oldest continuously occupied community in North America. If you do go here, the souvenirs and art/pottery is MUCH cheaper up on the mesa than at the visitor center (even better prices for cash…) http://sccc.acomaskycity.org/

ish-70 miles west on I-40, then south at exit 89 (NM 117). After 7 or so miles, you’ll be driving in/through the national park.
