Thanks for stopping by everybody. We’re extremely excited about this project.

I’m already seeing students creating connections, making friends, writing full profiles about themselves, and getting their blogs up, going, and customized.

Every time I hop on the site and see that others are online it gets me excited knowing that it is a dynamic, “living” site where the content and discussions will change at anytime.

Wow. This is Elizabeth from Michael’s Intro class last spring. I already appreciated classes.tametheweb as my go-to source for the class before this (someone needs to stick a fork in Blackboard), but the new platform looks amazing! Using blogs and wikis makes so much more sense when we talk about sharing information.

Very cool, Kyle. I’m a wordpress fan, but some how this slipped under my radar. This is absolutely better than the ugly blackboard system that seems to have taken over.

I would add that this is important to use because librarians will need to engage users in the social media world. This is much more applicable to our future profession than, say, writing term papers.
