Thanks Alaska Library Association! 1

Thanks to the Alaska Library Association for the invitation and warm welcome to Juneau last week. I was honored to keynote the conference and spend time with the incredibly dedicated Alaskan librarians.

I was also able to break away for the afternoon and hike around the Mendenhall Glacier. It was stunning!

What a fantastic presentation. Much more engaging, enticing, and inciting (to action) than the usual conference presentation one sees!

I’m in your LIBR 200 class, which I am thoroughly enjoying, and as I figure out what direction I want to pursue within the great scope of “information and library science” (in quotes on purpose to emphasize the inadequacy of the phrase) this presentation has inspired me!
