Call for Survey Participation: “Women academic librarians’ career progression in management positions.”

Lorelei Rutledge at the University of Utah is conducting a survey career progression of women academic librarians titled “Leveling up: Women academic librarians’ career progression in management positions.”

The purpose of this study is to learn more about women academic librarians’ experiences pursuing management opportunities. Your answers in this questionnaire will help me learn more about the challenges women might face pursuing management positions, their experiences in those positions, and their reasons for choosing to pursue management opportunities or not.

This online questionnaire should take about ten minutes to complete. There are no risks to you in participating in this research. Although there are no direct benefits to participating in this research, doing so may help to improve the library profession as a whole.
