The way to get better at anything, including communication, is by practicing. Blogging is good practice. Well said. One thing that came up in conversation with Mr. Abram at PLA is that a blogger can have a voice in the LIS blogosphere from the smallest, most remote library in the world and still reach a huge audience if they are putting their blogging presence out there. Greetings from PLA Symposium! I have no connection in the meeting rooms but I am making notes to post here. Yesterday I spent 3 hours with 200 librarians listening to Stephen Abram’s talk “Finding Oz.” It was incredible. Jenny wrote: Also, I’ve decided that Stephen Abram is the library world?s Jeff Jarvis.
