We had a little hiccup here at TTW and lost a handful of posts. They are back but comments may be gone! Thanks to Blake and Jessamyn for helping me out! Back to our regularly scheduled blogging…
At Panera again today: I used to call this the “Mobile Office” and it’s become just that as I write my research proposal and Library Technology Report. It’s almost like working again: I get here before 8am and stay all morning or sometimes into the afternoon. I am seeing folks — regulars, I guess — I used to chat with in the spring of 2003 when I started TTW. Jenny and I updated the Roadshow here last week because tomorrow we’re off to the Washington Library Association to present the Roadshow as a preconference workshop. I’m looking forward to meeting […]

Aaron just inspired me. All I’m saying is let’s look at our processes, policies, plans and technologies and make sure we are using the best tools for the best user-centered services. I leave for Kentucky at 6am! More from the road, if I can find wireless. Here’s the PDF of my Dead Technology Presentation from Wednesday Night.

http://tinyurl.com/nd33u I’ve used the lii.org site for many years in public instruction, reference work and as an example of human-edited subject guides that ROCK! Take the survey and help the folks at LII with decisions about funding. (The survey is open until March 16, 2006)
Thanks to everyone who commented on the Reinvention post, sent e-mails and posted flickr pictures tagged just so! — it really touched me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness! I have 2.5 more days at work at SJCPL and then I’m off to the next chapter.
