Sunday morning I spent three hours with a neat group of librarians from all over the world discussing how to successfully implement weblogs into the library setting. We had a lively discussion and the group came up with some brilliant ideas. Many of them already had some blog experience as well as a few were working with wikis! Rob Coers and I met for the first time last year at ILI 2004. This morning I’m speaking at the District 1 meeting of the Indiana Library Federation. I love to meet with Indiana Librarians and I’m especially happy because these folks are from my “hometown” — District 1 includes all of my county and the counties across northern Indiana. Greetings! I’ll be off to England tomorrow. Internet librarian International begins Sunday October 9th with workshops and then the conference takes place over Monday and Tuesday. We’ll be in residence at the Millennium Copthorne Tara Hotel.
